WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

The Digital Merchandiser will deliver a premier site experience for Converse.com, which inspires new customers and builds loyal and lasting relationships with existing customers. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with passionate teams including Buying, Planning, Experience, and Analytics to craft a captivating on-site merchandise strategy through product storytelling. You’ll use customer insights and data to implement on-site improvements through category pages, navigation, on-site search and more that drive engagement and conversion.

Site merchandising

Execute the seasonal digital merchandising strategy, through partnering with Buying, Planning, Brand, Experience and Analytics teams in order to deliver on category sales and conversion targets.
Following the seasonal Go-To-Market calendar, find opportunities to optimize revenue and customer engagement through visual merchandise storytelling, navigation, search, email marketing, and more.
Weekly maintenance of on-site category merchandising and features including site search, filters, navigation, and product information.
Regularly execute on-site content to elevate business across the navigation and PLP.
In partnership with site merchandising leadership, find opportunities to optimize the on-site experience.
Partner with Performance Marketing and key campaigns to optimize SEO traffic.
Pro-actively create search terms specific to your product line of business, and consistently review market trend re-directs to reduce null searches and improve conversion.
Execute ad hoc merchandising pushes directly into Production site environment.

Trading

Analyze financial results weekly throughout the conversion funnel with metrics such as Conversion, Add to Bag, Click Thru Rate, Product View Rate, etc.
Use analytics tools to identify shortfalls, drive course corrections & make recommendations to increase conversion.
Partners with Buying and Planning to improve inventory, ensuring in-stock position to support marketing moments and develop strategies to address underperforming categories in your line of business.
Partner with Analytics team to build and utilize dashboards

Reporting & analytics

Run and analyze digital merchandising reports on a weekly & monthly basis, understanding when and where to react to customer behavior.
Share back key and collaborate on key insights with local cross-functional partners such as Buying and Planning.
Support weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting moments, providing guidance on focus points and refining into a clear message for leadership review.
Tap into the expertise of our Consumer Data Sciences team for guidance.
