As the Senior Buyer of NA Digital, you will drive the brand vision through Converse’s digital direct platforms partnering with planning, site merchandising, marketing and global digital teams. In this role you will lead the digital assortment strategy driving consumer right assortments on Converse.com. You will lead the assortment strategy ensuring we always have the right product, at the right time, for the right price for our digital native audiences. You will collaborate with global and geography teams to develop and communicate a comprehensive strategy that aligns to brand product priorities and that supports our digital growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead the assortment strategy through pre-season, in-season and post-season deliverables
  • Build assortment plans against targeted consumer groups by category and flow
  • Build category plans, in partnership with merchandise planning, that meet digital growth objectives
  • Drive bottoms up investment strategy against assortments
  • Partner with site merchandising and digital marketing to ensure key products and assortments are supported to meet financial targets
  • Deliver weekly product analysis and create action plans against product opportunities with cross functional partners
  • Lead product lifecycle on converse.com ensuring we have the right breadth of product at the right price points
  • Drive NA digital product strategy in the key corporate gates and gameplan deliverables
  • Collaborate with geography channel partners to create consolidated geo summaries 

Qualifications:
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree or additional 2 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • At least 8 years retail relevant experience in buying or merchandising; at least 2 years of digital experience preferred
  • Expert merchandising ability to build consumer right assortments and managing product flow
  • Ability to drive category financial strategy
  • Expert Retail Math skills and understanding and familiarity of retail and digital KPI’s
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with matrix partners
  • Positive attitude and self-starter
  • High proficiency in excel and PowerPoint/Keynote
  • High Degree of professionalism
