WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Global Brand Management Manager to be an integral member of the Global Brand Management team! In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of outstanding seasonal integrated marketing plans that build brand and business impact for the Converse brand! Through cross functional and cross geo teamwork you will help drive the future of the brand as an authentic street-style brand that serves youth. 

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, standout colleague and has proven experience delivering positive results. To be successful in this role, this person should have expert communication skills, both written and verbal as well as have a deep knowledge of digital and new platforms. This candidate should be creative and have their finger on the pulse of the current culture and trends in the marketplace. 


WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you’ll support the creation of strategic marketing plans, briefs, concepts and creative implementation, owning specific projects/launches within a season. Putting the consumer at the center, you'll utilize insights to drive the plans with a digital first mentality.

You’ll need to build and maintain collaborative relationships with key partners within the organization. Partnering with Brand Planning, you will hindsight each season to garner key takeaways for the future. Having a passion for the sport and culture of basketball is essential to this role, as this person will be working on seasonal and basketball marketing plans. 


WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
Reporting directly into the VP of Global Brand Management, this position will work day to day with peers in Brand Creative, Integrated Digital, Entertainment, Sports and Community Marketing, Communications, Digital Direct, Energy, Brand Planning and Brand Operations. You’ll also be working closely with the Brand Management teams in North American, Western Europe, China and Global Partner Markets in addition to working cross-functionally with Innovation, Design and Product Merchandising.


WHAT YOU BRING
-  Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field. MBA optional.

-  5+ years in consumer marketing, digital marketing or related experience including strategy, planning and implementation, delivery and creative thinking/idea generation experience.

-  Knowledge of the industry, competition and marketplace trends.

-  Connection and understanding of the new and digital platforms.

-  Deep connection to culture and creativity and the intersection.

-  Experience of working cross-functionally in a matrix organization.

-  Strong communication, written and verbal and excellent presentation skills.

-  Possess critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

-  Able to meet travel requirements for the position and ability to travel abroad.

-  Able to work well autonomously and in a team setting.
