DO THE RIGHT THING

At Converse, Social Impact isn’t a program or a department—it’s a fundamental part of who we are. For us, it’s all about empowering our employees, supporting our communities where we live and work, and improving our environment.

THE POWER OF OUR PEOPLE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD

The Converse United Networks contribute to a culture that values our differences and appreciates that everyone brings unique experiences, perspectives and ideas to the team. All employees are welcome and encouraged to join or participate in any Network.

TOGETHER, WE CAN

We make it easy for you to tap into a worldwide network of opportunities to initiate change through our Give Your Best program. Converse will match personal donations to our approved charities, dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000 per year. For every hour you volunteer, we will reward you with $10 to donate to the eligible charity of your choice.

In our backyards and beyond

Through community partnerships and programs local to headquarters, nationwide, or in our global offices, we are committed to being good neighbors. We are proud to partner with a number of inspiring organizations driving true change for their causes and communities.

SUSTAINABILITY FROM THE INSIDE OUT

Converse HQ at Lovejoy Wharf is a building of rich history and has been our home since 2015. Our building is LEED-certified, meaning we’ve implemented practical, measurable strategies for sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor environmental quality. Through composting, recycling, and adopting biodegradable food containers: no more plastic straws, cups or cutlery, we guarantee that every employee has the opportunity to lessen their waste impact and reduce the company’s carbon footprint. Over 80% of our employees bike, walk or take public transit to work. Being good stewards of the environment is critical—a point of view we share with youth of all ages.
